Quote:
The point of the PUA is to better yourself as a person as a whole. Part of this is a social aspect, and many people who find themselves engulfed with the PUA culture also have had a hard time with the social aspect in their lives.
As a practicing PUA, I can tell you that it does begin like you said. "Canned" or unnatural. But as you progress, the idea is to become more fluid with your social dynamics. To learn to interact with not only women, but society in general in a more effective, pleasing manner.
Now, it may seem like that's a stretch, but you have to view this objectively. I'm going to use you as an example. I'm going to guess that you're probably a semi-decently to rather bright kid. You've got "everything going for you" and people expect a bunch out of you and you can't understand why. You traditionally find solace in things other than social interaction, and that has lead you to become "socially inept" in your eyes. This in turn leads to a rather large lack of confidence, and the fact that you are a virgin lowers your self-esteem even more.
Now, what I have to tell you, is short and sweet. Read. Learn. Practice.
It'll seem tough at times, and you'll probably feel like quitting. However, none of the best things in life are easy, and I can guarantee, if you stick with it, PUA will change your life for the better, and you will become a much happier person.
I stopped at the first sentance...nuff said.
Its not all about women, its all about being a better you. The 'canned material"...thats training wheels til you internalize the concepts and underlying psychology and its all natural.
Openers simply provide an answer to the "omg what do i say" complex that most of us get when we see a women we like, after a few uses you realize it doesnt matter what you say...
No one can force you to improve, but if your not happy with being a virgin or anything else id say start reading...good luck.
