Hey everybody
I'm a scrawny, boyish-looking man at age 24. I've never weighed above 65kgs and always been a thin dude, which is both good and bad. Bad because I look like a nerd. Good because at least I'm not a fat fuck. I've never had the self-control to keep up working out but I've always wanted to have a muscular body (I don't mean like Schwarzenegger or something, I just want to have something to show).
Especially, I want some abs. Now, I recently received a newsletter from Brad at the MPUA Forums where he followed up on his previous letter saying he's going to get a six pack. This is what he wrote in his latest mail: "My diet is going well, first week out of the way and feeling much more healthy already. Need to keep this up if I want that 'lady killing' six pack yo!" lol
That inspired me to make this thread. I would like to propose a challenge to all guys who wants to get a six pack, just like me and Brad. The idea is that we can motivate and inspire eachother, post images of our progress and see if we can work it through. Obviously, this is not for the ones already routinized in working out or who are already well built. This is for us who needs the kick in the ass to get into it.
The challenge: to get a six pack during the time between July 1st to December 31st.
This thread is a pre-discussion prior to this challenge. I want everybody to come together and express what you think about this idea, who's up for it and how we can get through it and get those abs. What workouts would be the best to reach this goal? What food should we be eating? Thoughts? Opinions? Maybe there's already something similar in the works, in that case please post a link!
P.S. Remember, having goals are good even if you would happen not to succeed. If you weigh 150 kgs and want to get some abs maybe six months isn't realistic - but that's not really important. What's important is to go as far as you can and we'll be here to support you.
P.S.S. I'd hate to see anyone bash this idea with arguments like "lol just go work out like normal peepz". I ask you just to try to see why doing this as a group thing could be motivating for unmotivated people.
Cheers!
