I'm a mature adult. However when I was younger I was beaten by my father and my mother was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, leading her to be either extremely withdrawn or severe and manipulative. I've noticed recently that this has had profound repercussions in my romantic in the form of abandonment issues. I'm reaching out to see if there's any similar dudes who've studied game that have gone through this.

There are certain things "game" can help you to get over. Childhood trauma and other types of issues are something that is a little beyond pickup. I sincerely suggest finding a good therapist in your area. Psychology Today has listing that you can search by zip code and other specifications.

There is no routine and no amount of technique that you can learn to heal yourself of real problems. I really think you should look for professional help.

Good luck moving forward.

Hello,

my situation is almost the same as yours. I found that psychologsts are not effective for this, at least not for me. Maybe it has some effect but not worth the time and the cost. I think you can do the same for yourself and it is faster than that. I'm still working on this though.

Check this book out: Healing your emotional self by Beverly Angel.
