I won't advise you on image as that's not really my thing, but PUA has influenced my lyric writing.
I listened to some of your songs and they sound good, but no lyrics particularly jumped out at me. Just as you want to be the exception to the rule when approaching women, you want to be the exception to the rule when writing music. Don't just say the same safe generic stuff that everyone goes for.
Whatever your music taste is, you should listen to an album called "In Search of..." by N.E.R.D (you'll know the lead singer as Pharrell Williams, who's pretty big now). This album is a masterclass of musical game. Not only is the vibe and a lot of the lyrics overtly sexual, but it's brilliant in its use of mixed signals.
Sometimes he'll be saying things like:
"Kiss on me baby
Lick on me baby
But you can't own me baby
Cause I'm the shit"
And other times he'll say stuff like:
"I think I've loved you since our high school
But you only wanted friends of mine
So when they replied "Her? she's cool"
Only then you gave our friendship time"
He has a song called Brain, the chorus goes:
"Do your really even love me
If you do there is no pain
Do I really even love you
Or do I really love your brain
I just love your brains"
What's anyone meant to make of that? And I mean that in a good way. And at the end of the song he says "I've got an idea, let's fuck". Throughout the album he plays brilliantly with opposing conventional ideas of love and wild, outlandish and even misogynistic lyrics. He has a song called "Provider" where he talks about having to go out and leave the woman behind, but talking about he's only doing it because he loves her.
Game has influenced my lyric writing in a similar way, in that I am now very open in my lyrics about emotional experiences at times, more than I would have been, but am also more cocky and arrogant at other times, increasing the emotional spectrum.
Interesting stuff, I enjoyed how you broke it down into a science. For lyrics I usually use play on words or things that are close to me, I sort of got that down, although my main mission with lyrics is self-expression I avoid relationships. My problem is creating a
Band name and image.
Example: AC/DC they hv a tremendous image. They're known as tough brawlers that like to party and just like old school rock. Their album covers are congruent. I believe YOUR image MIRRORS the audience. Which is why Angus' school boy suit attracted young guitar fans and even woman.
Led Zeppelin: is an extremely glorified band, I believe Peter green made it so all of their poses and art work glorifies the band. Page always has huge Alpha poses.
The Doors: They're known as a group of intellectuals yet that have wild/crazy antics.
Bruce Springsteen: and average American guy with a guitar
*Radiohead: a group of European intellectuals that are weird and alienated from society. So they attract hipsters lol
I need to portray a look and image to my band that stands out and that mass ppl can relate too.
