I'm a college student. I confessed to her four days ago at midnight. She was a little surprised and said about what a great guy I was and how confused and torn she was. At the end she said she couldn't give me an answer right away. I said take your time. But I knew I fucked up, had a rough night. The next evening, she wanted to talk. I was prepared to be friendzoned or shut off. But it turned out she really wanted to talk, she talked about the main reasons behind her hesitation
1. we share the same social circle and our classrooms are just across the hall so it would be embarrassing to run into each other later on if we broke up
2. Through her last two breakups she draws the conclusion that guys become less interested once they are in a relationship while girls or at least herself is the opposite, she thinks she doesn't know me well enough and i don't know her well enough either.
3. She said she has admiration for me, but not exactly the kind of feelings she thought she would have for someone she would fall in love with.
Then she asked me what do I look for in a girl and how torn she was and how she's afraid of losing me both as a lover and a friend...at last she again said she couldn't decide right now and kept me waiting again...
and now it's been three days since the last time we talked... Do I still have a chance? P.S. We are on summer break right now and we live in different cities, we talked online. Is there anything I can do when we are face-to-face?
I think she basically rejected you here and put you in the friend zone. Your only chance I think is to stop talking to her; freeze her out. Forget about her for a while and make her see how it feels to be missing you. Maybe then you have a chance, but honestly, this is a tough one.
