Mkay well i took this model i shot with out to dinner and then brought her up to my roof, we were talking for a while and i touched her shoulder and she moved away, so i knew it was kiss close or bust. I told her to kiss me, and she was like "no, i'm wearing lipstick!" and i was like "so? i dont care. kiss me." and she gave me a short peck. i was like "oh come on, is that the best you can do", and then wrapped my arms around her and started kissing her neck. she didnt really pull away and i could tell she liked it but something was holding her back. i let her go and asked her what was wrong and she gave me all the excuses, what if someone would see, she was wearing lipstick, she was a virgin, etc. I told her we make our own perfect moments and then pointed out the sunset and said "how is this not right?" and then i held her for like 30 minutes just staring at the sunset. she told me i was just like the american boys she saw on TV and asked me what i was thinking. and then i told her to kiss me again and she couldnt really look me in the eye. i asked her if she was nervous and she was like no, so she kissed me again. finally i figured out what was wrong because she asked me what an american boy (she was from kazakhstan, in her country they pretty much marry after a kiss) would expect to happen after, and i was like, screw expectations, this is about having fun now. by the end of the night we were pretty comfortable with each other and i had a bit of lipstick on my face, but fuck it, right?

anyway i thought we ended pretty great but the next morning she texted me saying she was still waiting for the bus. and i was like "you're joking" and she was like "kind of", but i knew it couldn't be true because even if she was there all night the buses start at 6am and she was texting me at noon. its a couple days later and i asked her what shes doing on the 4th of july, no answer. i was pretty happy with how the night ended and i know i got past a lot of her barriers but shes usually a girl who texts back immediately, so i wonder what may have changed after she left to make her act like this

She sounds really shy and most likely has very low self esteem. You were probably too nice to her. It also sounds like you tried too hard to get a kiss. I don't think you should ever mention kissing with your words ever, unless its super playful.

The way to let a girl know you want to kiss her is with your body language, mainly your facial expession and light kino. Don't let them think about it, let them feel it.
