As Majik said, don't buy her a drink, ever. Not even after 2-3 hours. But my friends and I buy rounds for the table, and I'll randomly buy some drinks for my friends. Better to be nice and generous with guys than with girls. Guys are used getting socially challenged, bullied, etc. So if I genuinely like a guy (no homo), I'll randomly pay him a beer.
As for TheFury, I suspect he's incredibly good looking and fit because he runs a game that's quite different than conventional PUA wisdom yet he still has success apparently. Picture Ryan Gosling for a second... Imagine him doing all kinds of stupid crap... Say for instance he goes up to a random girl and he's like, "hey girl, nice tits... Wanna make out?" I don't think it would work in every case, but I'm sure in at least 40% of cases it would work. Now picture the average guy here trying to pull that off. Probably a 0.5% chance of it working. So yes, I'm saying Ryan Gosling is 80x better than us, and yes, I'm saying TheFury likely has the looks and body definition to have more success using unconventional game.
Well thanks for the compliments but it isn't entirely true. I am not a bad looking guy but not much above average, and though I try to stay in shape I am 5'8" on a good day and am losing my hair.
My only point here is that the majority of the forum acts like you can never buy a girl a drink ever and that this is a hard and fast rule. I am just saying that this is not necessarily always the case nor is it viewed as a hard and fast rule by all the leading PUAs (I think some of the leading PUA's do actually say it's ok to buy drinks). I know in my experience, I have been EXTREMELY unsuccessful not paying for dates, and when it comes to drinks, I've honestly found it hasn't made much of a difference if I paid or I didn't. A lot of women are successful and have money, in which case who pays for the drink is irrelevant. I've found making an issue out of a $12 drink can really back fire depending on who you are gaming. Maybe my frame is not as strong as you guys in here, but it's really hard to come off as a successful young professional in the city and then even suggest implicitly that who pays for a drink matters if I get shit tested on it. Again, this could be specific to me and my overall game, but I just wouldn't completely discount the idea that a woman might be turned off if you make an issue out of the cost of a drink without being a gold digger.
