How to build 100% solid confidence and self-esteem

Yo guys. I had big problems with confidence before. After this program im about to give you should not feel down around people. Instead you will feel like everything you do is alright and that you deserve the best. You will simply do what the hell you like.

1. Change your negative thoughts

Do this step if you feel your unworthy. If not proceed to next.

Lay down in bed, relax. Start thinking about the bad feelings you have about yourself around people. Usually you will start fantazising limiting belifes.

Example:

1. You have to do something special to be loved (be a bodybuilder or a rockstar)
2. People like you only if they can use you first. If you help them.

Change of thoughts:

1. Now when these thoughts come up, corresponding feelings will also come up.
2. Become conscious of this mental state
3. Now change the thought.
4. Think about somethig that feels very real. Imagine the details. Of how you are loved by some person for no reason at all. Just because you are yourself.
5. If you do this right you will feel like a new program has taken place in your mind, and you will have a different emotion. This time POSITIVE instead of negative. And normally you will feel very happy and excited to start living like this.


2. If you feel you are loveable and good, but still you are insecure around people do this. If not, proceed to next step.

This is a pure NLP method like the one before.

1. Lay down in bed, relax. Put on headphones and listen to some music you like.
2. Imagine you are among a crowd where you usually feel insecure.
3. See and feel the emotions you usually have and what you usually do in this situation.
4. Usaully you are engaging in a bad behaviour (your simply being a pussy)
5. When you see this, SNAP! Revolt! Imagine you are a rebel and you do what you like. You own the place!
6. If you do this right you are supposed to evoke feelings of freedom and independence and you feel like you want to tear down the place and beat up all the people that has keept you down.

IMPORTANT! The song you are listening to is supposed to be a song with HIGH ENERGY because you are making a shift in your way of thinking. You are supposed to change your thought (step 5) when the chorus starts and you feel the adrenalin rush.

3. Now when your mental state is properly aligned with your desires you can do some practical stuff.

1. Go out in the field and meet people with this attitude. Kill your approach anxiety once and for all.
2. When you meet your friends reveal your new behaviour and make sure to show them you now are a self-confident person that doesnt let any body get in your way.
3. Treat yourself well. Simple things make you feel better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdWdi8Hl2Tc
4. Physical workout helps to get you in the mood.
5. Do shit everyday that you usually dont do because of fears.
6. Take a walk in the park, enjoy life. This makes you cool. Isn't it what we all wish for in this forum? ;)
7. Do meditation if you are interested. 15min/day is just fine. Read more about: Jon Kabat-Zinn.

Awesome post and great information about the NLP and the procedure of post writing is also great. Well understanding information. NLP is very helpful to me.

By NLP training I get growth in my both personal and professional life. SO NLP is the best technique that give effective result when we do practice of short duration of time. So such a Short duration efforts give such an joy in life so WHY not start from today...................

While this will give you some confidence and some self-esteem I think you are missing one GIGANTIC chunk of confidence..... LIFE PURPOSE! Perhaps the biggest piece of the pie.

The tips overall are good and I agree with them all, solid write up all around except I think life purpose is a huge part of confidence, knowing what you want out of life and aiming for it is what makes you so certain....

Great read though :)

Building 100% solid confidence and self-esteem I'd disagree with, this will only take you so far, you must go further. Confidence is more than just one aspect, it's extends beyond your mind to your nutrition, to your goals, to your physical health.... This is a good start but if you want confidence life purpose and self love should be at the very top of the list imo.

These exercises will make you feel better on the surface but it will only be for a moment they will come back to haunt you.

My case is something different.

I`ve always had my life purpose but for some particular reason I felt like shit even thou I was already achieving it.

This small steps makes you enjoy the little things, wich is awesome; but I agree you must know where your ship`s going in life.

Take the courage to enjoy the little things and let people think you are somehow weird for enjoying such minimal stuff; but be also aware that you have an ultimate goal and act on it.

All your efforts were guided towards that goal, even the one`s that seemed to be opposite.

Thanks for your response on my post. I appreciate it. The NLP-methods are just a way of restructuring the neural networks in your brain so that it functions in a different way. So if it is to work, your change in behaviour and thinking has to be consistent with your daily life since neural pathways are very flexible (plastic).

So i suggest that you try to incorporate this new way of thinking about yourself in your entire life not just with hot chicks. It will make it more permanent and natural, it will feel authentic.

I can say that i feel a lot better. like 70% cure. But the fears still exist when i am among people or girls but it is very rare for me now. NLP only eradicates special phobias or fears and makes your brain function optimaly.

So as an answer to your question, no I am not a pussy anymore. Even if i am afriad sometimes I at least know how to deal with situations. So i dont need to escape them.
