Day 12
A list of 10 qualities I want people to know about me
-I love travel
-I love learning how people live in different cultures
-I love reaching new heights in things
-I love working out
-I love having bizarre new sights
-I love getting high (naturally)
-I love laughing
-I love eastern europe
-I love cooking
-I love looking good with fashion/hair etc
Three experiences that made me who I am the past year
-Getting more serious about life… Deciding to rock on this year… Walking around the beach every morning in Barcelona, eating all them oranges and imagining how the year in a new city would be like
-Getting stoned high with this 70 year old dude in Amsterdam who paid my ticket and thinking what the fuck am I doing now
-Working out with my buddy in Eastern Europe just thinking this is the life
Haha, that is a funny list of some stories I could make. Just three random things I remember doing the past year.
Stories to tell about my life
--When I was 18 and I stripped down in front of my school ending up on the back page of the newspaper (I didn't know there was a reporter there though)
--When I was 18 and my dad died - not going into details here on a public forum
--When my back tattoo got infected
--When me and my friend were heating chocolate to the point of liquidation and mixing this with underwear and putting it in public elevators
--When I wrote to this guy on eBay that I never thought I would buy an used electric shaver for my pubes… And told him this is the life of eurocrisis
Todays field mission:
I was actually feeling pretty shit today when I went out today and met up with Itsmyway and one of his friends. Luckily they had brought a full plate of cake and we decided to have some fun with it.
Approach #1
I approached two immigrants asked them if they wanted some cake. I walked along with them and made some small talk. Then I asked them to tell a story from their life - anything I didn't know. The they told me how Ethiopia was like and how its the worlds oldest country per definition.. I listened to this then I told them how I every day woke up in the Barcelona hostel, ate an orange, walked on the beach, listened to an audiobook and decided to move to this city,
Approach #2
I approached a guy who was selling cell phones and gave him a cake because this cell phone company just has awesome prices. Then I asked a guy who was standing in the line if he wanted some cake as well and asked him about his small tattoo on his hand. He proceeded to tell me all about how he tattooed hit himself 40 years ago or something and I made some small talk. Then I proceeded to tell him the story about how my tattoo was infected 3 times and how cool I was going to the doctor for the third time.
Approach #3
I went to a saleswoman in the book store and asked if she wanted some cake.. I asked her to tell me her best experience reading anything in her life. She told me how moved she was from one of her books. After that I told her a story about how captivated I was reading Harry Potter in the nights when I was a kid.
BONUS approaches
I told Itsmyway and his buddy to wait just outside the store (while still visible) while I approached a woman inside the store. I told her Itsmyway had come out of a relationship because they never had sex and yesterday we were out and he finally lost it. So today we are giving out free cake to all the women in the city. I also got her to give a thumbs up to Itsmyway who was standing over there. Itsmyway gave her a huge thumbs up back, not knowing why. When I told them why she did so later we had lots of laughs
In the supermarket I said to a woman "I have to say it, you are the most beautiful woman I ever saw today" .. She said thanks to this. Didn't get the tone right on this one, but it was much better than the last time.
Day 13
Because life is short, and this is a shit and boring mission, I decided to do this today.
The task is: find out what is happening in your local area. Read something from a woman's magazine and ask some woman about it.
I took a couple of pictures of events that are happening in this city.
The three of us then moved into 7-eleven and were reading some of the women's magazines. We found out women were interested in the break up of a famous celebrity couple here.
I then approached two women in the street to ask what was up with that. I think they perceived me as a bit needy for this, or none of the women actually cared about this breakup. Anyways, mission accomplished. Two times.
