I've went a TON, I mean through an assload of shit recently.
I really, really lack motivation to do ANYTHING, sports, entertaining myself, even thinking seems problematic, everything.

The thing is as I start thinking what could I do I keep noticing the things that are problematic about it, eg, games take up my time, sports make me feel uncomfortable, tired, doing nothing is doing nothing which is terrible, jacking off - no problem there, having fun with people is uncomfortable and requires me to think, creating something is problematic. I feel like I'm condemned to live a boring life because of being lazy? The goal of my life is to become an incredible person of love and power, while still being humble.

I've let the weird burning feeling in my guts grow bigger (it seems like a psychological problem to me). The burning feeling appears for a reason that I can't really peg right now, it's like everytime I feel bad it shows up, anything bad happens it shows up. All this time I had avoided it somehow but now I just forgot how.

Before all this I had massive depressions, apathy, anhedonia I felt like I was totally away from the world in a place of unresistable pain.

I think I might need to set a bigger, more powerful goal to motivate me. But there seems to be something up in the deeper levels, I don't have any emotional motivation to live or do ANYTHING including going after my goals.

I actually managed to get a better mood in the past 2 days acting stupid and being funny all the time.

TL;DR
My only cure would be to stop noticing problems and negatives of my life and setting a few goals, but how do I do that?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated here.

This is ridiculous, like every time I post something on this forum I fix it myself hours later. (Though I've been struggling with this problem for a REALLY long time on myself.)
Has anyone else had this happen?

Lesson learned:
Scavenge anything you can from life. No matter the price if you gain you gotta take it. No matter the borders. Nothing matters. JUST TAKE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN. Go up to take more and more, never avoid possibilities or things you can achieve, have, enjoy, experience. Life is yours to take, enjoy and explore.

Suppose I was stuck in a mental cycle, Do I really want this? Do I really need this? Is this good enough for me? and so on. Ofcourse my mind kept setting the most negative arguments as answers for these questions, so I can just replace the questions with: If there's something to take, GO FOR IT, fuck the borders etc..

It takes more energy to focus on negatives but you seem to enjoy or prefer this method. If you can focus on the positives,it's much easier and effective.Look at the bright side of life why do the opposite?Life is short make full use while you can. Good luck.

The problem is my philosophy. Every time I try to think of anything positive, beautiful, calming etc. my "smart" brain sets in and tells me all the shit about it, like it was absolute truth and I'd be lieing to myself if I didn't know the negatives.
Life is gray and meaningless to the "smart" or I could call it logical mind.
The emotional mind doesn't care about borders however. I read only a few pages of "Wild At Heart" by John Eldredge and I seem to have opened my emotional mind.

PS. I seem to not be in control of my mind at all, the mind is a tool that protects me and shows me the world for what it truly thinks it is.

And thanks for the reply, much appreciated.

Well..1st off can you even sense what your thinking? Then are you able to start tracing back the memories of WHY your following such a pattern?

A simple exercise would be use an elastic and snap your wrist each time your having a negative thought. Or a variation of such. As of the "smart" brain part..end of the day- you live your life and you control your actions- all of them. So, your going have to tell it to shutup. Its doing it out of reaction due to past experiences and until you can "chill" and be "still" your going keep running in circles.

^ The link covers ALOT and talks about mentalities, actions, lifestyle development which will eventually lead to a positive outlook. However, it assumes your practicing the exercises.
