@clearspeak. I never thought about it like that, off the top of my head I would say: Talented, good looking, ease around other people, financially and emotionally stable, a leader.
Just to point out that there are some things in your list like financially stable and good looking that are not necessarily in a guy's control. Do you think no plain looking, poor guys have any value? I doubt you really think that. There are people throughout history that weren't good looking or rich that I think you could respect.
Also keep in mind that even many guys that now are rich and have status at one time did not. Were they not worthwhile people until after this happened? That's a backward way to look at it. Many of them only got where they are now by finding worth in themselves before others saw it.
If your criteria for a man's worth is fleeting things like money you will not really be even talking about self-esteem. Self-esteem means valuing yourself for something you see inside yourself, not outside.
