Friend, it's not easy to get big.

You can pump iron till you puke
if you don't know how to go about it.Walking the dog,situps and pullups
will only get you a taut stomach, shoulder,forearms and back strength.
You need to do aerobic excercise to increase your metabolic rate, that is the rate
of burning energy while you are predominantly stationary or not doing much manual work.That means running,swimming,hiking or biking.Any activity that makes your body move continuously for at least 30 minutes.Don't forget to drink water to hydrate your body. Good luck.
PS stretch your muscles and warm up slowly to avoid injury which many novice
exercisers don't think about for the long term enjoyment of the activity.
