first of all.. high carbs increases insuline.. insuline is a growth hormone antagonist. Eating shitloads of carbs just before or after exercise is a stupid idea.
Calories is not relevant...it's not like you can eat all you want because you work out alot.. by eating alot or more than you need you put way too much stress on your body. everytime you eat something your recovery slows down , everytime you don't eat something for lets say before sleeping you regenerate much faster.
what is relevant is anti-oxidants, hidden allergies. If you work out alot but if you do not get enough anti-oxidants you will do for more harm than good. If you put stress on your body, and you have hidden food allergies/intolerances you can easily damage you body over time.
of you do HIT training, high intensity or VO2 max you really need anti-oxidants people who work out alot with unhealthy or incomplete diets look like smokers.
Wow dude thats all the old thinking or as it's called "bro-science".
First of all it is ALL ABOUT CALORIES and macros.
Yes you can eat whatever as long as you don't cross your maintenance calorie you won't gain weight.
The idea with carbs being bad/makes you fat is false.
Excess calorie makes you fat/bulk.
Deficit = loose weight.(asumming your only cutting like 10%) or so.
And as far as supplement you don't need them. They are nice but not needed.
For a skinny guy your best supplement is food.
They have a saying in the bb community "if your not growing your not eating enough"
For the people that wants to loose weight. Be on a calorie deficit of 10% of maintainance. And maintain adequate protein intake.
And more points to know.
Figure out you macros(protein/carb/fat intake) and eat anything that fits there.
Nutrition intake timing is irrelevant.
Protein shake is not needed if youre able to meet your protein intake requirent.
Get a solid program-don't make your own. Unless your a pro in which case you know your shit already.
Any question do ask.
This info is straight from bodybuilding.com so if you want Proff it's easy to find.
Ps. I'm not going for the bb look. However their information is legit and without them I would not have been able to get bulkier.
All of that sounds simple, like telling a dude go to a girl escalate and fuck her, nobody sits there and count calories, that is why whoever is reading just follow the method in body for life the protein and the good carbs should be the size of your fist, salad whatever you want in at least a meal, and good fats in another...
