| Day 3 COMPLETE:
I'll start off by saying this was my fastest day (completed the task in shortest time). Got motivated by the fact that was late (again...lots of stuff to do but still my fault) and pushed myself to not avoid sets regardless. So I "opened" left and right regardless of the fact that some of them were sitting few meters apart.
What reactions I got:
-most of them answered, I thanked them and moved on
-some called me on the fact that I had a watch (and pointed to it as I was asking); How the conversation went: "Don't you have a watch?" "Yes, I do. But I don't see the connection. Is that a reason for you not to tell me the time?". Or some variation. After that some answered.
-one group refused to tell me because one of them jokingly didn't like my shirt
-due to the fact that my eyesight is not perfect and light was getting low I approached some girls with their mother (they probably were at least 16...but hard to tell with all the makeup they were wearing, nice job mommy). Their mom gave me deadly stares and told me to check MY watch, and pulled her daughter away from me. It made me laugh. Later on I saw them again walking my way, she pulled her daughter away from my walking path again and gave me deadly stares. I assured them I mean no harm as they passed by. That made me laugh even harder after they passed...the immage of her pulling her daughter away as If I was some kind of predator was just too funny.
-one milf and two younger ones (I thought they might be mother and daughters?) played into it and asked me if I want the time from just one or all of them(I wasn't looking at one in particular as I was asking). After one answered I asked them each to tell me. They did and I thanked them. I was a bit surprised, as I was getting close I expected a harsh reaction. I guess it's just education difference, I wouldn't get mad about it either (unlike some did)...but maybe the ones that got mad just had a bad day or I interrupted a really good conversation.
-I asked about 3 of them twice, hard to tell the difference after about 20 "sets". One group started yelling "OMG it's you again, go way, we already told you the fucking time time. If you'd at least take the fucking watch off...", in a rude manner. I didn't let myself be affected by it back then so I won't insist on it much now.
-After asking a few groups that we're close to eachother one of them wished me luck ironically by yelling "I really hope it works out for you dude" (I guess they didn't consider this to be a great pickup line), I asked them "what?(do you hope it works out)". I hope it does too (finishing the program), but we were talking about different things obviously. They we're thinking that i'm trying to pick up girls with this "line", wasn't true obviusly.
-one girl at the end pointed out that it's kind of weird to ask the time if you have a watch, I concurred: "It is a bit weird isn't it?", she told me anyway.
What I learned today:
- There are different types of girls and you'll get different types of reaction, most of them have nothing to do with you or with what you can control
- It's great not to care what people think about you
- You can get a good reaction even with this "opener", I guess how you look and maybe body language and obviously the girl's situation has more to do with it then what you say at first.
- I learned to detach myself from their reaction and focus on what I do
- I realised in my "subconscious" (I knew it conciously long ago) that this is a number's game and you must get over any type of reaction
- I learned to be curious about people's reactions without letting myself be affected by them
And I did all this after one of my shittiest days (outside of PUA). Maybe for some ain't much, maybe for some is. Just detach and live life.
