Has anyone gave it a shot?
As a new twitter fiend, I have noticed there is an abundance of babes on twitter!
Has anyone tried Gaming on twitter? Any tips? Any ideas?
I find people are pretty open to talking to randoms on twitter! They even embrace it!
Just my thoughts

I have. Twitter is a tough game to navigate because you get to see everything that a girl thinks. The hard part is interpreting some of these things, ect. I have an anon account that talks about weed n shit, cause I smoke and stoners tend to be the most active tweeters and are much more open to follow a fellow stoner who is super boss.

For some reason though, my game has gone to shit this summer and I need to do some rebuilding of my game/mindset.

The main problem about Twitter is that it is addicting in the fact that you eventually start to post almost all your thoughts. This can be a turn-off if you happen to have frequent moments of AFCness, which recently I have been having a lot of. smh

True!
Personally I am very picky about what I tweet! All my tweets are a joke of mine, unless I'm tweeting @someone.
I think it's a possible thing, it will just take some work!

And about your game going to shit this summer man, don't worry, it happens to everyone. I just recently got over a slump! Personally I find working on Inner Game is the best way to get over that shit! But everyone's got their own style.

I gave gaming on Twitter a go tonight and I think I worked it perfectly!

I've been following this girl for a few months now (she had followed back on the same day) but we hadn't ever tweeted each other. As you'll see, I gained all the info I needed to build a connection with her through her Tweets & pics. It's very important to mention these things in a way that doesn't seem creepy or like you've checked alllllll her tweets.

Open convo - just mentioning each other in Twitter 'public'

@Girl
Can't wait to start reading this! I love Dave Grohl [pic of This Is A Call: The Life and Times of Dave Grohl]
@Me2Girl
Cannot wait to see such a legend perform in NI this summer, mega excitement!
@Girl2Me
me too! Going to be awesome :D
@Me2Girl
Have you caught them love before?
@Girl2Me
nope going to be my first time seeing them. Heard really good things from people who have though :)
@Me2Girl
Whoops, obv meant 'live', lol. You're in for an absolute treat!

[At this point I had looked at a few of her past tweets to see if there was anything else I could make a connection with her over. I saw she's a massive fan of SPAM so I decided to share a link of the new trailer and DHV with the fact i'll be getting to see a staff preview of the movie. (publicly and without mentioning her - she saw the tweet and starts another topic of convo with me about SPAM!) ]
Quote:
@Me
The best perk of my new job at Movie*****? It has to be getting a staff preview of SPAM! I cannot wait! [link]
@Girl2Me
you are so freaking lucky!!
@Me2Girl
You're a SPAM fan too? Awesome! I know, I genuinely feel very lucky. Even if it'll be only 24hrs before everyone else lol
@Girl2Me
yeah I'm a huge SPAM fan! But still lucky you get to see it before everyone else
[Meanwhile we were continuing the other convo]

@Girl2Me
I can't wait lol it will be worth going alone to see them [She's pointing out she knows no one else going to concert, I took this as an IOI]
@Me2Girl
Your friends aren't of such good taste then... [Slight neg, not too harsh and not a direct hit at her] That's a shame, you should knock some sense into them, it's Dave Grohl ffs lol
@Girl2Me
some friends have said they are going to get tickets but I'm not holding my breath lol oh well I've waited ages to see them
@Me2Girl
Well you never know, you could go to it, get blocked & have the best time with a random group of strangers lol
@Girl2Me
haha I've been thinking that! I found out my manager is going but I don't fancy hanging about with a bunch of 40+ year olds
After this I decided we'd talked enough for me to push to the next level so I decided to DM her:
Quote:
@Me
Hey, i don’t normally do something like this lol. [I said that so I didn't come across as creep who uses Twiter all the time to blag girls numbers] But seeing as we both love Foo’s & SPAM I was wondering if you’d fancy adding each
other on FB and grabbing a coffee or a drink sometime?

@Girl
I'm not on fb that much but if you want you can have my number?

@Me
Sure, my number is ********** - give it a text and i'll save your number [Making her text me first by giving out my number before she could.]
Five minutes later she texted me saying "Hii it's girlsname :) x" from which I took the opp to ask her what some of her favourite bands are, whilst mentioning I like 30 Seconds To Mars and that i'd seen them the previous summer [I'd seen from pictures on her Twitter that she had been at the event too]. She then impressed me by saying she had met a couple of guys from the band once, talked about the bands she liked and asked the question back.

The plan is to text her bit by bit over the next week or so and then arrange a coffee/drink meet-up/date.

That's Awesome! Good job dude, I would say she is interested enough to go on a date with you. You've seem to got a good plan.

I'm going to give this a shot, and when I do I'll post a follow up here.
To be honest, I don't see the point in going from Twitter to Facebook, or any social media to another. I just go for a phone number instead. Facebook can come later. That's just my preference though!
It's seemed to work out pretty well for you!

I get your point about getting the number, rather than switching to another social network. It's the way i'd rather do it, but so many girls have amazing Twitter face pics (especially if they're in black and white) and then it turns out they're not as hot as they appear. That's why I wanted a Facebook for this one - unless i'm certain then i'll not go for the number straight away.

She text me back this morning saying "Hey I forgot to say last night that that would be grand about going for a coffee or drink sometime".

Job done, now all i have to do is time bridge until i'm able to go on the date.

Make sure to post when you do, Wellsey, it'll be interesting to see how you get on and what tips we can share! :)
