Do girls care about this stuff? Is a $20 pair of drugstore sunglasses a turn off compared to raybans? And I can't understand why people would pay $100 for a pair of sunglasses when there is UV protection in much cheaper ones.

because dragon sunglasses are fuckn sweet, sometimes when you see the holy grail you must have it, even if that holy grail is 100-600$ sunglasses, if you got the cash to blow and you love the shades, by all means

as far as do girls care, this is the same as asking the question, do guys care if girls wear expensive clothes/sunglasses

if you look good, you look good, designer or no name, doesn't matter it is all about the image you project, some people can pull off a 40$ outfit 10x better then someone wearing over $1000

but comparatively usually you pay for quality, and you get what you pay for

they usually start around 100$ + unless bought direct (I believe they start at 80$ usd direct from dragon), and some of the more specialized dragon shades can run you back a couple hundred

some sunglasses can even get into the thousands (not dragon though)

you can also buy good replicas. but they must be REALLY good. I don't known if there's good ones with glasses but I can tell you I've a large collection of replica watches and never ever anyone found out that they were fakes.
I've loads of replicas of premium 1k-4k watches that costed between 50$-200$
Even professionals from watch repair stores can't tell the difference! Often they ask me "hey, where did you find this nice [insert premium brand + model]? they are rare to see around here."

Girls are into fashion, so it's likely that they will recognize your $200 Pradas for what they're worth... Fashion sense and money to spend... Do you want to communicate that to girls, or that you prefer cheap stuff like drugstore shades for $20?

I don't think it necessarily matters. But to me, I like looking good and sunglasses are my favorite accessory.

So when summer weather starts rolling in, I absolutely love wearing my Oliver Peoples Victory's!! And in the fall/winter I break out my Persol 2747's. If you feel great in the clothes you're wearing, it's going to do nothing but boost your confidence!

Do you want to attract materialistic girls or no? As far as fashion goes, a $20 pair of sun glasses work just as well as a $200 pair. It all comes down to how you wear it. Good fashion sense or style in no way means one needs to spend $XXX to look good.

I want to attract the hottest girls... Period! And I don't box them into materialistic/not materialistic categories, it's a grey area come to think about it... Imagine girls talking like we are doing now and one says "I will not wear short dresses and high heels and make up; I don't want to attract guys that are just into my body"... Would you date a girl that's dressing in a shabby way and does not wear make up? From my perspective I want to meet the girls' best self and I'm giving them my bst self in return... designer shades included...

It may also boil down to the type of culture where you live... Are you familiar with Hofstede's culture dimensions? In a masculine culture (such as where I live) men are very competitivein terms of material posessions (which explains why there are so many expensive cars in a relatively poor country) while women expect men to be provider... None of that New Age shit "We're all equal" in Romania... That being said, I respect your opinion, let's agree to disagree :-)

I'm into everything that works... If this means hinting that I am doing well materially in order to DHV I will do that... When in Rome, do as the Romans do... And that whole "cheating" thing is just a mentality of scarcity... "This hot chick will cheat on me because I have less cash than the other guy" I couldn't care less because I have other chicks at least as hot waiting for me to call them... And there's a saying about golddiggers...

"There is no such thing as golddiggers, just frustrated men"

This Tuesday i was given 4 compliments on my sunglasses by different girls while i was out. My friend who was wearing cheap aviators wasnt given one compliment on his sunglasses. Always wear nice accesories, they make a big differnce.

Try this when you are out with the same friend switch sun glasses and go to the same location you where at and see how many compliments he gets versus you.
