Before the Power Up Your Brain Program
Diet:
- 80% raw food
- No meat
- 1000 - 1200 calories daily; I'll be looking to bring this up to 1400
- Caffeine: No
- Alcohol: Yes
Fasting:
- Every other Wednesday
Supplements:
- None
Physical Exercise:
- Weights- 30 minutes daily
- Yoga / Pilates- twice a week
- Cardio- 5 times a week
Meditation:
- 15 minutes a day on average.
- I find I meditate longer on the days I fast
The biggest change I'll be making for this program will be taking the supplements. Also, the Shamanic Exercises, and refraining from mobile devices.

Power Up Your Brain:

Diet:
I had the coconut oil with a fruit shake, a big salad with veggies and some dressing that I made myself out of organic mustard, 2 raw eggs, and olive oil, and a trail mix- raisins, goji berries, almonds, cashews, and brazil nuts. Also, some pomegranate juice.
Physical Exercise:
- Weights (30 minutes)
- Running (1 hour)
Meditation:
I did try the planetary meditation mentioned in the book, but it turned into a normal meditation sitting. As far as the planetary meditation goes, I think it's a good idea to plan a time and meditate along with someone else. The book doesn't give much information about it, but here's what I found online:

Other than that, I deactivated my facebook, and have decided to only have my phone on from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. I gave my close friends, family, and supervisor a home phone number in case of emergencies. To be honest, I'm finding it a relief to have it off.
PS: I'll start working on a calendar.
