Ever since i started learning PU, it has become a hobby of mine to google what non-PUAs or non-aspiring-PUAs think of what we do and learn. And it always amused me to see the amount of disinformation out there. There are entire blog posts, written by mostly women, dedicated to putting down the movement. Reading through them, I don't know if I should be angry that they're insulting us or happy that it makes things easier for us if the general public has a misinformed view of what we do and how we do it.
The one thing that these female bloggers tend to rage about is the neg. They fail to see what it is, a tool to make women loosen up and laugh and be talkative. Rather, they see it as a direct insult.
www.myinflammatorywrit.com writes: "Pick Up Artists" use the art of the "neg" to attract women at bars, i.e., vaguely insulting or criticizing a woman to make her feel less worthy of the undoubtedly stellar specimen who has just stumbled up to her at a crowded bar..."
Or better yet the line from jezebel.com: "they're delusional enough to believe that women haven't heard about "negging," which is essentially the cornerstone of Game, in general."
Are you kidding me? The ignorance is astounding.
Certainly these two women, assuming jezebel is a woman, are even less immune to PU than most other women simply because what they've come to percieve as PU simply isn't true.
That's my rant, what are your guy's opinions?
