@ Sticksie- Best advice I've ever heard
@ all the people who didn't respond with bitter hatred, thank you for at least being respectfull
Everyone seems really split on this. Some say they deserved it others say not. I realize now that i handled them immaturely. I let my emotions get the best of me.
Now, instead of hating me and apparently wanting to kill me, what would you do in a situation like this? Better yet, is there anything you could do to keep her from doing this to another guy?
1. It's got very little to do with HER. If someone cheats, it's usually becuase they are in some way dis-satisfied with the relationship. I.E. That implies YOU AND HER AND THE DYNAMIC BETWEEN YOU.
2. The best way to have handled this would be to forgive and to talk to her, the way you have described her emotional state sounds like she was genuinly appaled by what she did. And the reaction she gave you was not to do with the humiliation of being "caught" but actually more to do with having a guy who she cared so much for crushing her and showing her such contempt for his own entertainment.
3. TALK TALK TALK. How drunk was she? Was she off her face, in which case, it was a mistake, or was it just tipsy, implying something is wrong with the relationship.
If something is wrong, you fix it and you move on, or move over.
4. Current advice; apologise to her, in person.
