I'll offer as an alternative to NLP training Hypnosis training, specifically Hypnotherapy training. I am finishing up my year at an institute in London (exam in June) and it has helped immensely with not only tonality and structure, but specifically anchoring my body, changing the flows of energy and has been a wonderful experience all round. Highly recommended, but it is contingent on the advice above, thoroughly investigate the course before you pay your money.
