I am new into the community and learning as much as I can but I STILL feel the urge to buy stuff for girls I like. It requires a lot of effort NOT TO
go and buy something I know they would love to receive.
I don't know if because of this I am missing my "knows exactly what to get" edge. I used to think that buying smart presents was a good way of showing intelligence and care.
I guess gifts are ok as a reward and not as the key to a womans panties.
comment please.

Give her something nice/thoughtful/useful/pretty and she will equate the feelings of the gift with her feelings for the giver.
Sadly, it doesn't work. I feel the urge to buy things for girls too, but now I make sure I use it as a reward, if I give into the urge at all. Usually I don't. I treat it like I treat approach anxiety; it's an annoyance, but I put up with it until it goes away.

Same with a drink or paying for her half of the date. If they deserve the reward you can get it.

I remember my girlfriend mentioned something about wanting the Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles movies. So I was out adding to my own massive DVD collection and I seen those movies and decided to get them for her as a present. I don't think there is nothing wrong with that... but its all in the context of the relationship.

If your game is tight enough she'll be the one giving you gifts.

Now if a woman asks you something like say "hey would you buy me a drink", you say"why don't you buy me a drink and we'll find out"
The thing is her asking for stuff is a hoop, you jump your her bitch, what you have to do is get her to jump into one of your own, so for example she says "how old are you", you say "guess"
You guys get the idea, work the Frame, Prizability is all Frame control!

For example:
Me: Do you steal?
HB: What!?
Me: I'm serious, do you steal things?
HB: No!
Me: I'm not convinced, gimme your hands, I'm gonna do a trust test.
HB: (Gives hands)
Me: (Tells her whether she passes or fails)
If she passes, I give her a cheap accessory I carry around. In my case, it's a joker card.
Me: I want you to hold on to this, but not forever, I want you to give it back to me the next time we meet.
This gift is a good one. It will remind her of the great time you two had together, it will make her loyal to you, she will have faith in you, because she thinks you want the thing back some or other time.
THAT's a real gift.
