Hey Guys! Just got back from a house party and field tested this new opener I've been toying with 5 or 6 times. i'm at 100%, beginners luck maybe? :-p

The Teddy Bear Ultimatum:

"Say you are dating a someone. If you found a Teddy Bear in his room that was hidden, would you think he was cheating?"

"My friend received a Teddy Bear from his female friend, so he hid it to not make his girlfriend jealous. She found it, and gave him an ultimatum: Either Burn the Teddy Bear, or Break Up."

Opener Field Report:

PUA: Hey guys, I need your opinion on something, real quick, before I go back to my poor friend and help him out.
Girls: [attentive]
PUA: Say you are dating a guy, and you find a teddy bear in his room that was hidden, would you think he is cheating?
Girls: well, why was the teddy bear hidden?
PUA: Yea, that’s the question. Here's the story. My friend received a Teddy Bear from a good female friend of his, and from fear of his girlfriend, he hid the Teddy Bear..
Girls: He shouldn't have hidden the Teddy Bear.
PUA: That's a good point. Well the thing is, she somehow found the Teddy Bear, and she got really pissed off. They got in a fight, and she stormed out of the room.
Girls: Did he try and explain?
PUA: Yea, but she just wouldn't listen! So the next day she called my friend, and gave him what I call the "Teddy Bear Ultimatum"…
Girls: [laugh]
PUA: She told him, either burn the Teddy Bear, or Break Up!
Girls: [laugh!] What a crazy girl!!! So what did he do?
PUA: [smiling…] He chose the Teddy Bear!
Girls: [laugh] Oh man! This is a lot of drama…
PUA: Yea! Well I have to go give my friend some advice, because he is kind of down. He really liked this girl, but she is a little crazy.
Girls: Well then he should try and explain, tell her she should give him a second chance…

Bottom Line: The Opener Works. It engaged the girls in an excellent way, they were both discussing, giving advice, talking. It was awesome, I had a lot of fun with it!

I like this, I think its a fun opener and will get a laugh out of the group, i'm going to use it when i go out tomorrow night

since it was recently valentines day i'll probably say he got a teddy from just a female friend on valentines day but he didn't want his gf to think anything of it so he hid it but then she found it, it was cute teddy bear holding a little heart and she wants him to BURN the teddy or she will leave him.

I like it! Very playful and non threatening, great work.

problem is you went nowhere with the opener, yeah it is a good opener just another twist to the whole ex shoebox thing and it opened well so well done fella!

This way you have opened and now moved onto to negging the target

It reminds me of the who lies more opener.

Overall it is not a bad opener.

This really doesn't have an impact on the opener..

maybe i'm just superstitious..

But i just F-closed a girl that i used the opener on originally last weekend.

So that ones a Lock in for me
