Hey!

so I am going every day for the past week to do an approach.
Psychologically I find it less daunting if my objective is just to do one and go.

This week has been pretty much hit and miss. Yesterday I was not on top form. However I still did two approaches. They both went to shit.

Today was great. I was pretending to browse in the book section. Anyway had taken care of my appearance quite a bit and had put on some great after shave. Anwyay first get great IOIs from this dark haired wonder but let it go.

Next see this HB7 come over with a really cute ass.

I approach asking if she works in the airport with mildish approach anxiety.
She says no and so I ask if she speaks ENglish. She says a bit. and then a few minutes later. i reapproach.

We were talking about this that and the other for about four or five minutes, my hands were sweating, having quite a nice conversation. She finally recommended a book cos I had asked if she could recommend me one.

I introduce myself and she does the same.

I say well, nice meeting ya and go over to pretend to check out the book she had recommended.

She stays for a few more minutes and leaves, making a point of saying goodbye to me.

I couldn't believe how I couldnt go for the number close or ask her to go for an instant date. JEEEEEEZ!!!! I am now probably never going to see her again- so either way, it wouldn't have made the slightest bit of difference if I had gone for the close and got blown off! I should have done it.

While leaving the supermarket I rememberd the advice "always go for a close if you reach social hook". Will be back in the mall tomorrow!!!

You're right, you should've closed.
And remember there's really nothing to be nervous about. Which can be a load of crock for some people. But I think the trick is just thinking your making THEIR day by talking to them.
I might try different approaches if I were you though. Yes/no approaches are an easy way to make some girls feel uncomfortable. Of course, an "Excuse me, do you speak english?" is a bit different...

I think One approach per day is a bit of a low-ball number. If for some reason it went bad, that'll be the only thing you'll remember that day. Whereas if you do 5 or more you're guaranteed to curb your approach anxiety, and you're gonna get better results. Probably even more numbers and things like that.

Like everything worth pursuing in life, this needs practice. Nobody wakes up an instant sucess. Practice and work, and look for social ques, converstion starters, and make sure to smile.

Cheers
JONAS

Cheers mate for taking the time to answer. It is appreciated.

The reason I just do one approach is because I find that planning too many totally screws me up- I end up never leaving the house, I do one and then can do another depending on how I feel.

In the mall I find I take too long doing an approach. I waste over an hour in the book section on Friday. No hottie appeared so I just about got sick of looking at the books.

Guess must plan my attack so that I go to different aisles ready to nonchalantly approach as if spontaneously, other wise I am just taking too long. I could have done loads of approaches in the same time.

Well, off I go out again today to have some more fun.
Cheers

If you think you are wasting too much time and no hottie appears, go talk to a non hottie or a guy. Getting talkative like that, without the pressure and anxiety of closing will help you get over your AA as much as aproaching hotties will.

Keep at it!

Cheers and good advice.

I went this afternoon. I ended up doing 3 approaches. I got geat IOIs from this HB7 in the book section. Asked her in English if she worked in the airport.
She didn't have a clue what I was saying, I repeated in Spanish. and she said no and then I asked her if she spoke in English. She says "a little"
I smile and it fizzles. but fine. my hands were shaking a bit on the first approach. She leaves and looks back at me smiling. we say see ya.

Tried doign what you said and asked a three set if they could reccomend me a good book. just for the practise. They really took some trouble to fill me in on the latest bestsellers. That was nice and I didn't feel any pressure to close,
Onto second approach.

moving around a bit- head on down to the washing up liquid section and HB8 there. She stops where I am. Goes off and comes back. I take it as IOI without realising that hubby is about 5 metres away with junior. oops.

I ask her my opener and then if she speaks in English and get a great little smile out of her but it goes to shit and hubby walks past and I start to shit bricks.

Third approach- HB5. moving onto the DIY section, get a babe there and ask her my opener- and she answers my questions and then I eject. She goes and then few minutes later I catch her at the end of the aisle talking to her friend- saying something in English obviously talking about my approach.

Felt really confident in spite of initial AA.

Mr E's quote for the day "more approaches= less AA"

good luck.

Hey guys,

just come back from the mall.
walked into the book section. There was a hottie browsing.

run airport opener.
hooks.
she speaks ENglish so we talk about England.
finish banter and little giggly talk. she is blushing and fidgeting with hair throughout and leaning into me. It is a supemarket so it isnt really necessary.

say how about coffee sometime, to avoid popping out my mobile and asking for her number

she said sure, here is my number have you got a pen?
Number close without asking for number.

went really smooth.
cant believe how somedays things just click so easily.
one thing. she seemed to hesitate as she was giving me the number almost like she was just suddenly realising that she was giving her number to really a person she had only met 4 minutes earlier.
I felt on cloud nine.
