Before you throw away all my shit as bullshit you should see the documentary of Nietzsche.
I know this subject quite well, and it is a quite debated subject of metaphysics.
Your brain is wired to have receptors which takes in a situation and a feeling creating a memory. If you manage to get positive feelings instead of bad feelings you will get a healthy and happy life, but if you let the bad feelings develop and take over the rest you can come into a state of depression.
This is not a discussion about what works or not, it's a question about biology and how we as a human species are designed. Watch 'The Secret' if you want, it pretty much tells you the same thing.
So before you throw out my 'bullshit', then read things written by professionals. In most cases they actually do know better!

Yes I agree with you 100%. I think we both agree just our communication is poor. What you are talking about is our PERCEPTION and how we respond to things. This is good. Ive done this myself for over two years now. Ive seen the secret I think about 20 times and every time I learn something new.
But what am I trying to explain is, how can you express your emotions. These emotions are not neccesarily bad emotions. It can be happiness, it can be joy, whatever. The main things is that you express it.
A musician will express it through his music, a painter through his paintings, an athlete will do sports etc.
You can do anything. As long as you express and experience your emotions.
David deangelo says, that it is very healthy to experience emotions but at the same time not to be victimised by them.
I can see you are an intelligent guy and I enjoy having discussions with this kind of people. But essentially, I think we agree, just our communication was bad.
Meanwhile, if anybody has an experience about this, post so we can learn more about this.
