| I usually act occupied with something while my wing approaches, then after I've been in the set for a couple minutes he'll come over (you need to understand that it isn't always beneficial to have your wing enter, so he needs to be able to see if it's gonna help or hinder you). When I enter, we act as if we haven't seen each other in a while if they haven't seen us together 2 seconds ago (generally do this for night game, not as much for day game), or if they have (or it's day game), we'll generally just go, "Hey man, how's it going? Ladies, this is one of my best friends, he's fucking awesome!"
Now I introduce myself and this also gives my wing a chance to get their names a second time in case he forgot (I find this helpful, because I forget people's names a lot, but repetition fixes that; if you've got several friends, get them to introduce themselves one at a time, so that you get to hear each girl's name several times, which is especially helpful if you had a hard time understanding her the first or second time). We either talk about what I was up to before I came along, or what they were talking about and then I demonstrate that I'm a cool guy, which makes my wing a cool guy by association.
Now the girls know we're cool guys, we're just chilling with them and I figure out through body language or some sort of code, which one is his target, then I take the obstacle(s)/other targetable girl. We divide their attention and create two conversations, then he will number close, or we'll bother number close and part ways. _________________ "The 'Brick Walls' are there to allow you to prove how badly you want something!" ~ Randy Pausch
