As the title says i recently (as in today) beat the shit out of some idiot. He was talking shit about my gf (i go through many). i confronted him with this in a calm yet frustrated attitude. i asked him why is he doing this and told him to stop. he responded by calling me a fag. i was surprised by this due to the fact that i am a tough guy in my school and most people are smart enough to not talk smack to me. After a few minutes of us tossing insults i said "you better shut your f**king mouth or i'll beat the shit out of you" he said lets go and i kindly took him outside and beat him inside out, and said to never talk shit about me or my gf again.

i don't really know how this fairs for me because i havn't been in a fight since becoming a pua. How does this affect me and my game?

I don't see how this would affect your game at all?

If anything - it might have demonstrated you are alpha male, that you stand up for your girlfriend when she is under attack. I guess it depends on the situation - was it something serious that he said? Some girls get turned off or afraid if you act too violent around other guys even if they are talking shit.

I would ignore the guy, he sounds like a pussy whos gonna leave you alone. If your girlfriend asks about it, I would not apologise, but would simply state that you were standing up for yourself and for her as well which is something you believe in. If she has a serious problem with it, then perhaps let her know it won't happen again, but doesn't mean you have to apologise for what already happend, especially if the guy deserved it.

Is there something in particular you were worried about in relation to your game that you thought would be affected by this?

I think you conducted yourself appropriately with him.

It was a consensual fight from what i can see, you both agreed on it!

And you solved it!

Its never good to beat anyone or threaten someone, usually if that happens take them to the ring, get a habbit to calling people out in the ring! its better! Looser pays for the ring time and gym and all that!

I wouldn’t say it would effect your game, its outside of the venusian arts, its more in the martial arts zone! I guess we can talk about the motives and things, but you handled it alright from what I can see.. You warned him, asked him to stop, he kept going, what more can you do, you can walk away and save him from a beating or beat him up!
Just make sure your mentality is under control, so you don’t resort to fighting every time. Try to avoid fights like this too, ”its harder sometimes to avoid something then do go forth with it” and that could maybe give you a insight into something else in life. Keep it in mind anyway!

You've just shown you're the protector of loved ones haha. Respect man, sounds like the fool got what he deserved. In my opinion this shouldn't affect your game at all.

It's only alpha if you draw mustache and penis on his face afterward.

Fighting is a DLV. There are precious few exceptions. I don't believe this was one from the way you talk about it.

If he insulted your gf, then you stand up for her, but you don't get into a fight over it, even if he persists and starts insulting you. It makes you look insecure. It takes a much bigger man to talk sensibly and then when you realise that that isn't working, then just walk away.

The exception to this in my opinion, is when threats are made, because then you have something that needs to be resolved and isn't mere words that are able to be shrugged off. If the threat is just big talk, then shrug it off, but if it is truly serious, then you either get someone else to handle it, like an authority figure at your school, or the police, but unless they are going to act upon it immediately without any chance to do that, then you have to act. You need to be able to tell someone just talking smack and someone that is serious in their threats.

Sure he was a tool, but you sunk to his level, so that makes you appear to be one to any outside perspective.

Maybe he's working on HIS game and just took advice from the wrong Tyler Durden.

I agree and disagree to an extent.

The thing is, he did not necessarily initiate all of this going on. He confronted the guy talking about him/his gf and he wanted it to stop. He talked to him, then it turned into the guy being a bigger idiot.

While I'm not a big advocate of fighting myself, I'm not going to sit there and let someone belittle me and my girlfriend. It's not verbal, it's physical, I understand that but you're still demonstrating some way of being in control of the situation.

Unless instead of verbally being a dick you just try to be completely calm about it ("why are you even saying this?") kind of thing. Then I understand where you're coming from.

Not a valid reason to fight, end of story. People "talking" isn't enough to get down and dirty, unless he is in YOUR FACE or THREATENING you then there is no reason to fight. Just because he talks shit, doesn't mean you should fight. Now you look like just as much of a jackass as he does, whether you win or not. Fighting should be reserved for self-defense or the defense of others. Not because he is "talking smack". That's immature, childish, and unproductive.

Fighting a DLV? Perhaps. I think that's far to situational to be able to say that all forms of fighting are demonstrating low value. And I also think there are more than a few exceptions. While I do agree that this was not the time or the place to fight.

The problem with this situation is you initiated the situation. He was just talking, something tons of people do. You took that step to be the asshole, to meet him halfway in being an asshole. It's much better to let him be the asshole and come to you, then knock his block off. Until he steps to you, you don't initiate. End of story. Never go looking for a fight. You can defend your girl with your reassurance and calm attitude. If she is in REAL danger then you fight for her.
