Sorry about the confusion i meant it to be after an opener and in more of a comfort zone, but i reread it too and the married/divorce thing does get a bit confusing so here goes...
after the opening...
I had a puppy for a while, its kind of funny but i really wasnt ready for a dog yet, especially a chihuahua! But when i got him he was the most lovable little white chihuahua i have ever seen. I felt like he was my little compadre. Its almost like pets can make you forget your problems and make you feel loved. What makes you feel loved?
sorry having a tough time with this cause the story sucks cause the dog got taken by my ex so i tried to leave it out.
Thank for the help it is very appreciated!!!!
Ill try a new story later in the post mabey
That was a much better read. However at the end i wouldnt ask a question like that...instead ask if shes ever felt connected like that. Also i hate to say it but this might be best used for comfort building.
In your stories you want to at least hint on things that can flip attraction switches. This story could hit on willingness to emote...but willingness to emote alone should be saved for close to comfort.
Attraction switches
+Leader of Men
+Protector of Loved Ones
+Non-neediness
+Willingness to Emote or Show Emotion
+Willingness to take risks
While these are specific and simple, there is also a broader range of topics that can help you DHV, but these are the things that will show her your alpha.
I think almost every DHV story should touch on the fact that your social...be it mentioning a social interaction you had, or a general statement like, "...and this jod affords me the ability to get out, love life, and meet new people..."
Some of best stories come from experiences you overlook. A goofy party you went to, a bad frat party, a cool club, dive bar...maybe even something that happened at work or with your buddies just hanging out.
We need to ask ourselves while forming or recieting a story, "What does this story convey that is DHV?", "Is there a point to my story?", "Did something happen out of the ordinary in my story?"
There are of course other questions...but the simple idea is are you telling a story that anyone else could tell, or is it unique and intresting, not because it only happened to you...but because your the only one who tells it this way.
if you gave the same facts to 10 random people and told them to right 1-2 paragraphs about it, as a story...id say you'd be lucky if one person told the story in an intresting maner. They would accomplish this through storytelling skills, because the details would be the same right? the others would blah on a list of details and unintresting facts. The story doesnt need to be a unique concpet...its the way you present the story which must be unique.
