So yes, I get it that when a girl uses her phone during a date, it means that she is more interested in the phone than the date itself.

But as mentioned in the title - Did she use her phone just so to get my attention? She was indeed texting a guy friend and told me about how he's trying to converse with her in German. (She's German btw)

A little background: I told her that I would be having dinner outside and thought if she would like to join me which she did even though it was a long day for her and we were both kind of tired for personal reasons.

A girl texting another guy while on a date? Yes we have. Is it a big deal? No it's not. Regain your frame, let her know it's rude. And move on. If she continues, excuse yourself and leave.

I take a hard line stance. If I'm on a date, especially if I'm paying, I want exclusive access to her attention. She's either calling the guy she's going to bang after she ditches you, the friends she will go drink with to look for a guy to bang after she ditches you, or the babysitter for her bastard kid. No situation is good. She answers the phone, you excuse yourself politely and leave the place.

If she says that you need to talk to prevent her? I call bullshit. She is choosing to use her phone, but she's too immature to acknowledge it. Again, bail. That's the same girl that stops taking the pill to get pregnant but claims "oh it just happened."

Honestly, who cares?

Girls are on their phone a lot. If you act indifferent, it shows you have options. If you get angry/upset, you look like a guy who doesn't get laid very much.

Men who get laid do not get upset about women playing with their phones. Sex is always around the corner, so there's no outrage to be had. There's no fear of outcome at all.

When I'm on dates with a woman, I'll even comment on the females around me. Not only is it a good frame, but I'm also being completely honest and congruent. I could walk away at any second and flirt with another girl in the bar.
