or do it yourself. Just implement a question that the bots cannot answer. don't do something like "what color is the sky" the bots are programmed to answer the common questions.
In addition to the question, you could also have a honeypot field. Above the field you write "don't put anything in this field" the humans won't put anything in the field, the bot doesn't understand it and fills it out, and registration fails.
or is this forum abandoned and the admins don't care any more?

Fixing the spam problem literally takes 15 minutes. You don't need questions, the google reCapcha is more than enough.

We have no control over the site design. Sorry but it is what it is.
Two, we delete a ton of spam everyday. Admins aren't paid so we cant sit on here all day watching so some spam does get through but we are working on a solution to try and greatly lesson the amount.

Location: Netherlands | | Depending on the forum software your using (phpbb, vbulletin etc) there are always free antispam modules that you can install within 5 minutes. Problem solved.
If you guys are serious about improving the community/forum a redesign and more active admins is a must.
