So I'm 24, she's almost 30 and looking for marriage. she's cool and all, but i just don't want to get married any time soon. so we were in bed and I basically caved in and said I wanted a relationship to get laid.

I actually posted this question on a dating site I like but I got flamed up the ass with "you're a douchebag," etc... I think the people on that site don't get laid or something

And if you were in the same situation, it's damn hard to say no.


So my question was, have any of you guys been in a similar situation and what did you do?

I think you could have got laid if you just ran the right game on her, instead of straight up lying. That is a kind of arsehole thing to do at 24 years of age.

But what's done is done so what happened afterwards? Are you in a 'relationship' now?

wow i guess what i did was extremely terrible. well, i was about 4 words from getting laid, and i really wanted it, as i do not get laid all the time like you PUAs.

yeah i fucked up, and i'm going to talk to her about it and tell her how i feel. but i thought that this had happened to somebody else. i guess not.

When your dick is doing the thinking you will say alot of shit to get laid. Don't take it too hard, just know you did not put yourself in the best situation. She knew that you were just saying that to get laid, but needed your validation that you will call her again to keep from feeling like a slut.

What the others are trying to basically say is that your game should be tight enough so that that situation should not come up. This way you leave the woman better than when you found her.

PUAs, however, have better ways of handling LMR. You could have at least done the old fashioned freeze-out.

One of the core mantra's of the Pick Up Arts is to "Leave her better than you found her." Included in that statement is to make sure she knows exactly what you want out of the relationship between the two of you before you lay her.

If you don't want a one-on-one LTR, tell her that you're not looking for anything exclusive at the moment but you really enjoy the time you spend together and love being able to connect with someone like you do with her and blah blah blah. BUT don't lie by telling her you want something exclusive . . . just so you can get in her pants.

But I agree with what someone else wrote, do a search for LMR(using the forum search function will be fine) and you will find out how to avoid situations like this.

Except for the whole opener story/DHV story/etc... Which is why I have a problem with people making up stories just to open/DHV themselves. And I know most won't call this lying, but the opposite of the truth is...?

And what you did was not very good per se, but you can recover from it. When you see her again, tell her you aren't ready for a relationship, or at least not marriage.
