Im in a rehab that allows you passes to go home from time to time.my gf is picking me up in a few days and im staying with her for 4 days.so this morning we were texting nd everything was going well until i told her that when she pulls up to the rehab, if anybody asks to tell them shes my step sister, the reason being that they wont let you go home with anybody other than immediate family.well, she freaked out and thought i as embarrassed to tell people were seeing each other.i calmly explained the situation and she calmed down.so. then i went to lunch and texted her asking how her day was going.when my break ended and she hadnt texted back i sent a follow up that i regret, saying how i told my best friend we were dating and she replied a few min later saying she was sorry for not replying and that she had been giving our daughter a bath.after that everything was fine but i still feel like the follow up text was bad idea, giving her more power. What do you guys think? If you explain yourself once and a girl is still mad, should you just ignore her until she cools off?
