Hey all, quick question. Wondering if I tried to set up the second date too soon in this case with a girl I met on Tinder.

Friday: dinner, then a bar, then another bar. Lots of makeout and good vibe. Tried to pull her home after the first bar but she said "next time".

Saturday: no contact.

Sunday: We text a bit and she's responsive. I try to set up a date for Tuesday. She says she's up for another date but she can't on Tuesday.

Monday: We text a bit more, same fun vibe. I ask her when she's free during the week but she ignores the question and addresses instead a previous joke I made during the exchange.

Wondering if I'm pushing for the second date too much/too fast? How long is it best to wait?

There's hardly a 'best' time to wait. That said though I generally avoid early weekdays, such as Monday and/or Tuesday.

Regardless, your intentions are clearly expressed, so for the moment let her come to you.

What you need to understand here, is that you got you've got her anti slut alarms flashing.

She says 'Next time'. You hear She's gonna fuck me 'Next time'.

She feels you pushing for 'Next time' like a puppy dancing on his hind legs for a bacon scrap.

Turn the dial back towards chill some. Keep things light and flirty. Maybe later suggest something like.

"Hey Friday I'm gonna check out that new series on Neflix The Santa Clarita Diet. You should join me if you can keep your hands to your self."

She's not interested.

She may find you slightly attractive, but she's not interested and is only keeping you around as an option in case things don't go well with the other tinder guys that she's interested in.

My advice to you is to stop doing so much online dating and get out the house to develop true social skills and stamina. Also, let this girl go, focus on others, and let her come back on her own if that's what she decides to do.
