| I would like some of the seasoned vets to give me insight as to the best way to overcome the boyfriend hurdle. Here is a recent failed attempt I have endured:
Setting: 6:00pm, mall, bedding section.
Her: Sexy tall skinny dark colored girl, sweatpants and sweatshirt, glasses, some jewelry
I opened with a question related to what she was looking to purchase, she was receptive, smiling, friendly. Conversation continued for a few minutes, she hinted at not being single (which is a huge red flag for me to just stop the interaction there, but I wanted to see if I could overcome). We talk more and more, both of us looking at various beds, joking and laughing together about how absurd some of the prices were. All things going great, open body language, kino both ways (she walked past me and brushed her chest against me, she was receptive to me letting me place my arm on her shoulder while talking).
We ended up laying in one of the beds together, asking each other personal questions. Everything honestly seemed to go perfect. I told her "Let's go get a drink or something" to which she replied her boyfriend wouldn't like that. I was very close to kissing her right at this moment, as she was right in front of me with my arm on her shoulder, staring at me. I ended up not pulling the trigger.
So here are my questions:
1) Do you think kissing would have overcome the bf hurdle?
2) What else could I have done? From your experience, what is most important when overcoming it (displaying higher value, etc)?
