Here is the story.
My friend inntroduced us cause she had been digging me for awhile without me knowing it.
we've been talking online for a few weeks now and been on the phone a couple of times. I've met her twice in real life too. one time with my boy and the other time on my own, we've just been talking you know and I think she is funny.
anyway, I was thinking of asking her out this weekend so where do I take her? I was thinking about the movies but does anyone have other suggestions?
Don't really know about grabbing coffee I think that is a step back.
Hope yall can help me out... PS I've read double your dating and it can't really help me here other then that I need to decide what the hell we should do.lol

I usually take them out for coffee or just a night on the town. I never have a plan for a first date. I kinda live in the moment. But, movies, again, is not a good idea in my book.

Secondly, movies, coffee, food = boring, shes done this with every other joe smoe shes dated.
Take her to do something adventurous and shows you like to have fun. Go kart racing, rock climbing things like that.
And don't act like every other retard and ask if shes having a good time, or set up another date while your still on one.
oh yeah, if your going for a relationship make sure you end the date first. Don't tell her you had a great time and be overboard with it, don't ask for another date until a couple days later.
If you follow my advice you'll be golden.

i agree with the second guy but the third guy i've gotta say even though it's a good thing it takes ALOT of guts to do that and if u want there to be more chances to talk u can't do much of that in a go carting situation if u know what i mean..
even if u do wanna do anything like that make sure u do something "boring" and more traditional to make her see u got different sides and also shows her that u do wanna get to know her.. (if that's what ur going for..) _________________ confidence is key

Depends on the vibe you're going for. Both spontaneity and forethought/planning are alpha characteristics, so really it's a matter of determining which is more congruent w/ your personality.
As far as what to do, do something FUN. You don't need to interview her for her autobiography on the first date. Hang out together, have a good time, enjoy each other's company.
The problem w/ movie/dinner type dates isn't the lack of conversation, it's the lack of interaction. Movies are really a passive experience with no interaction whatsoever. Meals can have conversation, but it's constantly conflicting with the fact that your eating. Not saying dinners are bad for dates, but their best suited for relationships, not getting to know someone.
Activities are best because it allows both of you to DEMONSTRATE your personalities as opposed to just TALKING about them over some boring cup of coffee.
Which date do you think she's going to brag to her friends about, the conversation over coffee or getting to act like 12 yrd old kid again and having a blast. _________________ No regrets, no failures, only lessons learned.
