This is a question I seem to get ask regularly, "do you have a girlfriend?" What's a good reply to this question? At the moment I try not to take it seriously, have a cheeky grin and say "a, that refers to one, I have twenty :D ."

Good or terrible?

with girls i usually tell them -wow i just met you. im not that easy. lets slow down and get to know each other first. do it with a grin she will realize you are single but you get to have fun with it

I think both are good responses.

The nice thing about getting asked a question is that you can really do a lot of things with your response. Generally speaking, off the wall and funny usually go over well.

Also context is important as it may be indicative of different things. Tune your response accordingly.

I dont have a good response, but i have 2 great responses. Both my own and not copied.

hb: do you have a girlfriend?

Moz: why do girls keep on asking that?

or

'i always get asked that question'

hb: do you have a GF?

Moz: why do you want to apply?

(That last i said two years before i was in the game)

Ah here's one i just thought of:

'no, but i will have this time next week'


It shows you're in demand and wont be on the market for long, so she better take her chance while she can.

i agree, you can give many responses, you can say you just broke up to give a dhv spike of actually having a g/f. you cud say sumit cheeky along the lines of "its made me very vunerable so hopefully you wont take too much advantage of me"
