This will be my weekly journal. Since I'm just starting out...this will let me track my progress.

Location: Casino, 11pm Monday night
Target: 25yr HB 8+ (casino waitress)

Getting food at deli, she orders next. I decide to practice my pickup while waiting (gotta start somewhere).

Me: Just random bullshit chit-chat. "Are you having lunch?" "What did you order?" "How long have you worked here?" About 5 more lame resume questions. A few Qs to be funny/light.

Her: Answered. Minimal eye contact. But stayed near me/didn't flee.

My food is ready....she says "Have a good evening". I say, "I'll see you around".

Positives: I actually spoke to a HB8+. She hung around and engaged in small talk.

Need work on: Resume questions (Be more creative).
Take your hand out of your pocket! (or maybe this is a good stance? I'll have to read up on it).

About a month into this now.

Just been talking to people. Mostly women, but have been acknowledging men also. Just random chatter.

Feels good. People do enjoy talking and socializing (me being so anti-social the past several years. Bitter really.)

Keep on truckin'

Went to my usual spot last night (the casino).

I wasn't feeling it. Felt bleh most of the day. But I went anyway.

Failure. If you're not feeling it...its not going to happen. I couldn't even say hi to normal/average people (girls).

Lesson: If you plan to go out that night....do something during to day to pep yourself up. Eat well, take a nap, do some housework, finish a project, etc.
