Didn't know where to post this as it's as much about entertainment as it is about women, so if it's in the wrong subforum feel free to move the thread.

There is this show made by Patrice O'Neal, about pick up and dealing with women. Unsurprisingly it's one of the funniest things ever and from time to time i pop an episode up with a few beers and LMAO.

But thinking about actual advice and attitudes, for the ones that have listened to the show, what do you think?

IMO, his "method" worked great because he had a 10/10 personality, huge amounts of validation from the World, and of course, he was a Star. When it comes to the "normal" guy, i feel like that type of attitude will bring success with damaged women that have become used to being mistreated and, will create the neo-alfas (that i was accused of in another thread lol) that i personally hate. That being said, i think he does some valid analysis on women behaviour.

In other words, he was able to be as blunt and dismissive as he was, because by his status alone women were desperate to get his validation. Used by a non-star, you would either become a bully that has to get through 8758457 to get some success, or you would have to target specific, broken women.

What say you? :p

Black Philip can point you in the right direction in some areas, but a good deal of the content could use a tune up. Also patrice wasn't well known at all before he passed away. He's one of my favorite comedians of all time.

Use the show for entertainment, learn from it like anything else, and take far more action than you listen to podcast and read books. Get out there and find out if the stuff works first. Ask us about your direct daily experiences more so than you ask us about the philosophies and experiences of other people.

Dude the show is funny as fuck but you are talking about Patrice O'Neal like he was Tom hanks. He didn't have that much status like you are talking about.

What would you say were the right points in his advice?

You say he wasn't well known, well, he was a successful comediant with multiple TV appearances and millions in the bank plus a cult fallowing, that i would describe as having huge validation. Not Tom Cruise, but still.

I agree with your advice and i'm trying to do it. I i am just curious about what more experienced people though of this.

Didn't have that much status compared to whom? To the average guy? Tom Cruise? You? He had Tv shows, radio shows, lots of money, etc. You don't have to be Pitt Cruise to have status. The cool guy in the hood, work place, etc has status. It's relative. He had much more then any man is ever likely to ever have.

Except women don't care much about moneyand status except the few who ONLY care about that aka golddiggers. Some of his material is great but you kinda dismissed it.

Millions in the bank? Wrong.

Patrice Often said how it depressed him that his mothers a struggling working diabetic and he wish he could afford to take her out of her situation. He did not have the money you think he did. Nor the status. Many of his TV appearances were low budget shows giving guys on the come up an opportunity. Pennies on a dollar. Meaning.. The show is benefiting the people on it more than they're benefiting the show. Thats not the kind of thing you get paid for. He probably made around 75 to 85k a year on average, if that. He drove a 2007 Dodge Durango CITADEL and was paying mortgage on a 2 bed room decent sized home in New Jersey.

And i said a "tune up" meaning the majority of it is all in the right direction, some perspectives however could use a tilt or a "clean up"
