Okay so I read the game a while ago, before that i never knew about routines and picking up girls with scripted lines, I was wondering if these actually work in night clubs because i would always assume it is to loud to be telling her a bunch of routines.

It really depends on the bar/club.

Places that will yield less success:

Loud high energy clubs
Dance Clubs

If you attempt to use routines and the power of the spoken word at the places listed above, then you best bet is to move outside or to a more quite and less congested section on the club.

Places that will yield more success:

Cocktail Lounges
Upscale bar, designed for a more sophisticated crowd
Local waterholes
Sports Bar
Low Key College Bar
Pool hall/Karaoke Bars
