So earlier I posted a thread about me getting new job with new girls, well managed to get one out last night, now unsure what to do really.

Basically she was very defensive Like I have never seen before, didn't like to be held, like my hand on her waist (at first), but built up to it so by the end of the night she was okay with it. Was even kissing her on the cheek. But then...

However, I went to try and kiss her on the lips at I think a good timing, and she turned her head away. Then it was all downhill from there. Its like she felt good knowing she rejected my kiss and just didnt want to be around me anymore it felt like.

Was so bad, I only gave her a hug at the end of the night.

Idk guys.. I could care less but man kinda she wasted my time as I had plans with another girl i had lined up, maybe I should ask her out one more time, or just drop her? Wadda think.

Age of people involved? Country? Need some background if you want any more thoughtful analysis...

I'd say the girl you described seems erratic - typical behavior when she's unsure if she's into you and maybe has something else going on guy-wise other than you in her life.

It actually seems like you did well. Not every girl is going to want to kiss on the first date. If you took her from being uncomfortable with a touch on her waist to the point where she was okay with you kissing her on the cheek...you were more than likely doing something right. You just have to get her warm on the idea of kissing.

If you ask her out again and she agrees, you're fine.

She wasted your time because she didn't let you kiss her?

Or did you waste your own time because you weren't effective enough at seducing her? The losers points the fingers and evade responsibility, the leaders assume responsibility and see where they can improve for next time.

Go out with her again if you want and try again. You could probably use the experience.

I agree, USA, im 24 she is 21, and to think of it she was going through tough times, she was kinda sick that night getting over a cold, recently broke up with boyfriend and some family issues going on not too bad though.

Plus, she may be talking to another guy, she was showing me texts basically of a guy begging her for to come over that night I was with her lol (like the guy texting her 3 times in a row stuff), kinda felt great knowing I was sitting next to her not him. So ya she for sure is indifferent or may be talking to another guy to.

Thanks man, I am just so used to getting a kiss the first night that anything less is failure..I guess not getting one is also a good sign to if I am still getting good responses? she was a little sick that night maybe she just wasnt up to it idk..I do feel like I could have done so much better though. and I do figure its either a yes she wants to go out again or no, and if not im just going to drop it.

You are 100% right I wasted my own time by being not effective at seducing her and pointed fingers to not lay the blame on myself. It just kinda counter-acts Jacks statement when he was saying its okay. But Thanks man for the clarity, never experienced something like this before, was very interesting and makes life fun.
I mean if she agrees to go out again..its on..if not no worries.

If that relationship lasted more than 12 months she could have some strong attachment to the other guy.

I advocate a no-bullshit policy so if you want to go out with her, go for it and try again, but if she resists the second time why don't you just straight up ask her if she's still attached to the other guy and/or if she's ready for something new.

True, but Ya this was after she denied by kiss so I was not really paying attention too much, I was thinking of whether or not to leave, change setting, or try again. Last thing on my mind was a guy (maybe a friend i dunno) texting her, who was probably drunk or something.

Sounds Good.

Also, so I got to see her at work today, really no contact between us, seems like she was in a bad mood so I let her be. I basically flirted with the other girls instead.
