I wonder if such a thing exists between male friends. I know men are no where near as catty as women, bu still.

I have a friend who, for a while, used to compare her boyfriend vs mine. And it was mostly along the lines of, well, my boyfriend is better than yours because of x, y and z. She would also say how her boyfriend would never date a woman like me, how I'm this and that, and how he's so not into such type of women.

Now, I found this so damn odd because a. he's dating her, what the hell do I have anything to do with their relationship, b. I never even gave 2 hoots about her boyfriend, nor did I find him attractive in any way, and c. I never compared her men to mine, so why the weird comments?

I think a lot of guys might do this sort of thing when they're younger, but then a well rounded guy realizes that their own personal happiness is ultimately more important than what anybody thinks.

Do we 'check out' our friends girls? Fuck yeah.

Do girls 'check out' each other? Even more so.

Do guys share their girls naughty pics? Yes, but only the 'R's' Typically.

Hm, well, I do check out men but I think with significantly less sexual charge than a man does. If I see a very good looking guy, my thoughts stop at, he's good looking. I believe men tend to cross that line with sexual fantasies.

Why is everyone dating or friends with idiots and then trying to figure them out?

For many months, I'd think to myself, "Why the hell is she telling me he won't date me? I'm not interested in him, this is so weird." And then she'd tell him about my negative traits and then tell me back about his response.

I'm at a crossroads with this girl. She can be an absolutely great friend, super supportive, she'll even boast about me to her family and friends (and I hear it back from them), but then she has this dark side to her (don't we all) where she'll make odd, snarky comments that leave me going, what just happened?

I don't want to lose the friendship but I'm going to defend myself.

She also tells me super intimate details about her man. Now, I know girls and guys talk, but this shit's starting to weird me out. Stuff like how hard his dick is, how they have anal, how he hugs her at night, and all the romantic things he tells her. I can only take so much.
