I own a two-family house and rent out half on AirBnB for extra income. This week my guest happens to be this super pretty Asian girl and her mom. The girl is actually studying at a local college, so I guess her mom is here for a visit or something.

Thing is, I talked to her very briefly to check her in and saw her once since then to show her where the laundry was. Not really much time to game at all, and I didn't even try because I don't want to get a bad review and take a financial hit over it.

So I'm wondering if there's any way I could text her after she checks out (tomorrow) and just ask her out for a drink. I tend to doubt I could text anything that'll work, but I'd be disappointed in myself if I didn't at least get an opinion here.

Best I can some up with is "Hey I didn't want to make things awkward while you were staying here, but I think you're super cute. Let's get a drink and see if anything clicks?"

To answer your question, I don't know. Maybe if she thought I was attractive too or something. I didn't think the chances were high at all but basically "don't ask, don't get" and frankly this is the first time I can ever remember PUA's recommending not asking!

why would she think you're attractive? was there any flirting? for girls, getting horny is more than just visuals. they are not like us, we see a girl and immediately know. they need more.

I think there's a big difference between 4 days of being an AirBnB guest and a year of probably stalking your sister. I literally couldn't ask her out immediately because then she'd be creeped out the entire time she was staying in my house, so it had to be delayed (or not done at all.)

You'll find horror stories all over the internet of people asking people out while they are working their job. It is awkward and almost never works out. There was a couple times I'd be working before I went to college and I'd see someone and want to try to ask them out, but I never pursued it, because they are not in an environment where they are actively (or even passively) looking for that.

Asking her out would probably be unexpected to her, because she sees you as an employee at a job, not as a person to be connected with.


I would avoid the situation all together. If she is "different" or "unique" or you feel like you just gotta try, don't be so forward, try to be in a situation that allows you to talk to each other, and get to know her a bit. You need to dissociate yourself from your job if you want to get anywhere. Just don't try to ask her out without any other context. You aren't at a bar or something, she really isn't looking for a date, unless she has been forward about it (Which she hasn't.)

The how are you part is just probe...if she was interested she's going to respond to that and ask it back,if not it's not something that's gonna creep a girl out. Or you can put some humor in slightly. The point is you're asking a business question with a friendly opening part that if she is interested she can jump on it.
