My friend saw this movie Hitch, there was a scene where Smith's character would purposely give $10 do random girl in a bar, tell her his order and turn his back. The girl went after him telling him she's not a waitress here, Smith responded in a best way possible saying how otherwise could he drive her from all the guys surrounding her.

So friend of mine tried the exactly same thing with a stranger in a club. Result was ridiculous, she just took the money and turned her back.
