To elaborate further on this topic. I hardly believe that "cerebral" conversation leads to a lack of arousal. First a distinction must be made between who is using their logic. I, myself, use my intelligence and generally agreeable positions to have a group of people side with me, or show a leadership quality. If I can have them agreeing with what I am saying, and trusting my opinion, then I build compliance. This is true of both women and men. If a woman is simply observing this, she will see the dominance in this particular realm, and she feels attracted to me in that sense. Even IF she is using intellect, if I can match her wits or even over-match her, gracefully, then she will learn to respect that. Therefore, it's an integral part of a longer-term relationship to establish your own intelligence and reasoning. In order to lead, you must be trusted. She will not trust you if she believes she "knows better." She will also not respect your opinion. In the sense of one-night stands, it's less likely that you'll use this because it's about energy and social status more but it's a helpful arsenal in case things change and certain discussions come up.
