Yo that's the opposite of what usually happens lol
Stick to it regularly (daily without missing a single day) and see if that works better for you. Already do it every day? Then do it twice a day lol
Though I'm a huge proponent of meditation, I must admit that regular exercise is just as good for your inner game as meditation is, at least for me. I started lifting a year or so ago and kept at it fairly strictly. My mental state is pretty great now.
Lots of lazy fuckheads like bartm will come up with every excuse in the book and then some to avoid going to the gym for some retarded, fucked up reason, but it's fuckin amazing and totally worth it after you stick with it for a while.

So running for 30 minutes is meditation for me. Just me and my body. And affirmations are bunch of crap. I could say a lot of shit but I think confidence comes through achievement. If you achieve something new everyday you are growing. That's why I learn something new everyday. Doesn't matter if it's learning how to how fold laundry in a more efficient way, the fact is, I am learning.
Just keep your life moving forward and the confidence will come. It also helps to unlearn the societal programming that the media and the adults have taught you. Most of them arent true.

Set progessively bigger goals with tangible observed results like "run a 5k" as opposed to "be happier." Fuck meditation and affirmations. Do something real. _________________ These hos ain't loyal
