for some of you new guys, im going to try and break down social value for you real quick to you can get a jist of what we mean when we say demonstrate higher value (DHV) or demonstrate lower value (DLV).

Think of it like this, everytime you enter a venue, everyone including yourself has a set number of points, lets say 10.
now every time you impress someone/someones with a story, or are seen by girls with other girls, you gain points, because you are demonstrating that being WITH YOU is entertaining, therefor time someone spends with you has VALUE, your attention is VALUABLE.
now everytime someone mocks you or takes what you said out of context, you lose points, or value, because w/e happend may make you seem less fun, and thus, being in you're presence doesnt give the people around you anymore points and people will be less inclined to be with you.

Actually, when someone mocks you, you don't lose value unless you react to it poorly. If you're talking to an HB and an AMOG mocks you, you won't lose value if you handle it correctly.

As an example, while you're talking to the HB an AMOG comes in and says
AMOG: Hey man, why don't you get me and her a drink?
You: No thanks, I already got one.

By pretending like you thought he was offering to get you a drink, you've DLV'd him instead of the other way around. You have to learn to handle these "interrupts" to be able to be flexible in any situation.
