The respondents knew what was attractive to their eyes. But of course, this universality did not mean an absolute 100% consensus among the respondents. Your implication that concrete researches provide the absolute truth in this matter is terribly flawed. Neo's confident observations are as good as any of those concrete researches that are worded in uncertain and ambivalent language which the academe has standardized perhaps to mask cover-your-ass, fence-sitting language techniques under the guise of objectivity.

This forum advocates field tests, the repeated execution of techniques and the field validation of theories to distinguish the bullshit from the stuff that works.

I agree with DJ_Z that several of those 'concrete researches' on attraction using poll data (surveys) are not objective at all. Why? Flawed methodology.

One really solid research I came across was from a female researcher who combined poll data with a measuring device for wetness in women's pussies and MRI scans of their brains. The research scientist made the women watch a movie with hard throbbing cocks and sex and then asked them if the movie turned each one on.

No one said they got turned on with the movie. Most of the women respondents said the movie was gross and turned them off.
