The way I see it..

If you had an interview with Google and 2 hours before the interview you called them up and told them that you weren't going to be able to make it because you're not feeling too good. What is the probability that you would get a second interview?

Now lets say you had an interview with McDonalds, and you called them 30 mins before to tell them you weren't going to make able to make it for whatever reason. What are the odds that you could get a second interview?

Be google man.

I've always believed in the idea that the willingness to give people second chances is the reason that they fuck up the first time. So because of this I've always had a one chance rule in the beginning. Once a girl builds some equity in my life I can be more open to mishaps. But in the beginning, she's nothing special or no one important until she shows up in proves. She may just have a great resume, but that means very little until she has performed.

I will say though, women have gotten so used to flaking on guys and guys putting up with it that they don't see anything wrong with it at this point. So if you are going to give a second chance(I wouldn't advise anything more than a second chance) make it clear to them the first time that what they did is improper and disrespectful to your time. Just so they're put on notice. I personally just let them figure it out for themselves, because i have no desire to hangout with or talk to someone that plays with my time.

You have to respect yourself more than you desired to be pleasured by another.

I can attest to this. The girl I'd met from pof on Saturday had flaked the other day on me (wanted to reschedule due to homework deadline), so I'd texted her basically that my time is important, I can see she was a bit annoyed initially but if that was enough to dissuade her from seeing me then she failed my qualification anyway. I also sensed she'd want to reschedule Tuesday's date time she offered me. She takes effort to contact, texts, calls me from work on break etc. We plan to meet today if she cancels best be sure it won't even warrant a response.

I do believe in giving the benefit of the doubt in the beginning, especially. Shit happens. Investment is often low etc. To do so repeatedly, however, you're setting yourself up and shit like that will erode your self-esteem over time.
