Thought I'd share a story from three nights ago. Its both great and not so great, any helpful advise would be appriciated.

So last Saturday I was out clubbing and my buddy called me up at 1am. He wanted to hang out, now he is newly single and I previously told him he can call me anytime if he wants to do anything I would be happy to party with him. So we met up and spent sometime at his place having drinks and talking. Our plan was to hit a local club at around 2am.

As wel left his place and were walking towards the club I saw two cute girls walking by so I smiled and said hello, they smiled and said hello as well. I turned around and asked them where they were going. We chatted for about 30sec, me and buddy were already buzzed and our destination was the club so webparted ways. As we went around the block I decided to go back and see if the girls were there. They were so we cought up with them and asked them if they wanted to head to our place, instead they invited us to theirs. Now this is where situation got strange.

Right off the bet I knew which girl I wanted so I made it obvious by chatting with her, having my hand around her back and just flirting. After waiting for a taxi for few min her friend pulled me aside and said that I could come with them but not my buddy, because the friend already had a guy waiting for her. I made a snap decision to talk to my buddy, explained the situation, and asked him if he was ok with going to the club by himself. He said it wasnt ideal but he understands, I felt like a dick leaving him behind, I was already drunk and easy pussy won over.

I took the HB7 to my place, we spent the rest of the night together having sex. I dropped her home the next morning. Got her number, sent her txt asking if she wants to meet up again, she said yes so and might see her again in near future.

After dropping her off I met up with my buddy at 9am he was still awake and was leaving some girls house, so he had a fun night as well. We had some food together then I dropped him off at his place to rest.

Now I am not too concerned about this girl, I have few on the go. What makes feel uneasy is how I treated my friend. He didnt really complain but it was our first late/all night out together and I feel like I let him down.

So what do you guys usually do when facing a similar situation and what do I tell my buddy now, as I feel like a dick, and he is a good friend.

I go out with pick up guys so there is an unspoken mutual agreement that if you have the opportunity to get lucky, go for it. Last week, I pulled a girl home within 5 mins of getting there and left my friend to party for the next 4 hours or so.

Now if I went out with normal mates and especially a mate that needed a wingman since his recent breakup, then I would have pushed more for the phone number and meet her later.

Don't sweat it , seems like you're both still friends. You can just be like 'Sorry bro, I broke the bros before hoes code, let me get us some food'

I am pretty sure if it was the other way around you would have encouraged him to go home with the girl.

True, I would be happy if that happened to him. Thanks for the post, I'll just continue being a supportive friend and opt for a number instead if this ever happens again.

To add value to my report here are the things that I did.

Smile and said hello when was passing by the girls, no pickup lines or tricks.
When got response immidiatly started chatting with them. Just telling them where I was going and asking them what they were up to.
I didnt leave them on purpose but it prob helped as it seemed like I wasnt really interested, which I actually wasnt at that moment.
When I came back to catch up with them I right away sensed which girl was intome, so I flirted with her by being close and putting my hand around her waist.
I offered them to come to my buddies place for drinks to gauge their comfort level. When i got the response that they wanted me to comeback with them it was clear that the cat was in the bag.
I isolated target right away by offering her ride in my car.
Before going to mynplace I told her to txt my name, phone number and address to her friend so she can reach her, this tell the girl that most likely she wont be taken to some uknown place and gdt into bad trouble.
