ok i number closed already. Got her number and said me and a group of friends are going out this Thursday to this bar and its a lot of fun. When i went to call her earlier that day she flaked out but sounded like she wanted to go still. In class the next day it was a little awkward. I am pretty sure I built up enough attraction by being playful with her in class. She asked what grade i got and i told her, and she said she got an A i said how does it feel to get you first A. We also joked about who's rival sports team was better.

I wasn't sure if it was working or not until about 10 minutes later when she made a little playful ioi comment back. When i asked for the phone number though it wasn't the smoothest but she gave it to me.

I get the feeling that she needs to feel more comfortable with me first, should I do that a little more in class? or should i ask her out to go do something with just the 2 of us first or should i ask her to another party or fun event of some sort and this time tell her to bring some friends? I hate getting flaked on. I got this class in 4 hours from now so any pointers would be good.

well i honestly would ask her to another party. many more chances of having a good time at a party than in a classroom. and FUN is essential to a good pickup.
