What's the best way to respond to this, online or in person? I actually am kind of a geek and have a job that would indicate I am smart, but I'm wondering what a good comeback is.

It's happened to me multiple times. It's not just one girl.

This is similar to my post about when women bs about me being too young for them, which is a sticking point for me.

I have had one woman tell me I was too smart for her. I just told her she should maybe pick up some new hobbies such as reading books haha.

True true. Good point I missed. I was thinking more on if you're really smart and probably you value other things more in a girl like personality or sweetness or whatever other shit you'd justtell her the truth ie yeah I'm smart but what I really like are women who are just sweet. Are you? Like it's weird to have someone tell you what should be important to you.. Why wouldn't you just respond by saying what's important to you?
Like if you went into a car dealership and you look like a sports car guy.. If you wanted a station wagon because that's what you like.. If the dealer said that station wagon is not good enough for you.. You'd just state your preference. Nah I don't care about going fast like that.. I'm trying to save a bit and don't want something flashy. Plus to me those sports cars are ugly.. I love the look of the station wagon personally
